Some pre-history: Some years ago,I have needed such one converter for my first, very little and easy, Content Management Systems called WinToHTML. The generator inside of the WinToHTML has to be able to make russian and other non-latin pages. As solution I have written this converter – at first, on VBScript, for MSIE only.

The visitor statistics of my site shows, that my visitors has great interest to this converter. So I decides to make the Javascript version – now, the converter becomes cross-browser.
And finally, I have registered the own domain for the converter – htmlconvert.net.
